The LKC Series. Based on the design of the popular LK Series (Lamella cooled units from 100% aluminum AlMgSi 0,5 F 22), LKC features a material combination of aluminum for mechanical purposes (fixation) and copper for the thermal purposes (mounting surface, lamella). The thermal performance of the LKC is 30% better in terms of thermal resistance and up to 50% better in terms of maximum capacity for heat dissipation.

Height and width of the lamella cooled units are designed to fit to standard fan sizes. In addition to this standard item, the design of this unique combination of copper and aluminum is highly flexible. Thickness of the lamella, distance between lamellas, base height, total width and total length as well as mixed patterns of copper and aluminum can be customized.

For mounting semiconductors modules there are two mounting surfaces.

The thermal data refers to one flat milled surface with three loads and a stationary free blowing operation.
For double side device mounting the other side is also milled flat.

This standard LKC was technically compared to the LK standard by a laboratory analysis. The results of this comparison are available for download.

Test samples are available on stock. Also, Alutronic offers thermal simulations if needed.

The safety regulations in accordance with the laws pertaining to working equipment should be observed.
Single-phase motors can only be operated with permitted capacitor. The legal requirement for motor and earth lead connection should be taken into account.
